Scope:This specification covers a thermally-stabilized, irradiated modified fluoropolymer in the form of very-thin-wall tubing. 【摘要】:ThispartofISO6639specifiesfiverapidmethodsforestimatingthedegreeof,ordetectingthepresenceof,hiddeninsectinfestationinasampleofacerealorpulse.NOTE—ThecharacteristicsleadingtothechoiceofrapidmethodaresummarizedinthetableinISO6639/1.Sectionone:Methodbydeterminationofcarbondioxideproduction(clauses3to9)Themethodisprimarilyintendedfortestingwholegrains.Itisnotapplicablefortestinga)finelygroundgrainproducts,asthereisariskthatpar-ticlesofmaterialwillbesuckedupwithairsamples;orb)grainproductswithmoisturecontentsgreaterthan15%(mlm),becauseoftheriskofcarbondioxideproducedbytheproductsthemselvesandbymicro-organismsin-terferingwiththeresults.Inaddition,themethodisnotapplicabletotherapidtestingofgrainproductsontowhichcarbondioxidehasalreadybeenadsorbedinlargequantities,forexamplegrainstoredinacon-finedatmosphereorwhenthereareclearexternalindicationsofheavyinfestation.Themethodcanbeusedforcoarselymilledorkibbledgrainproducts,providedthattheyhavebeensievedbeforetestingtoremovefineparticlesandlooseinsects.Themethoddoesnotpermitthepresenceofdeadadults,pupae,larvaeoreggstobedetected.Sectiontwo:Ninhydrinmethod(clauses10to16)Themethodisapplicabletoanydrygrainpronetointernalinsectinfestation,particularlywheat,sorghum,riceandsimilarsizedgrains.Largegrains,suchasmaize,havetobepartiallybroken(kibbled)beforetheycanbetested.Thistreatmentoflargegrainscancausesomeinsectstobelostorfragmented,thusrenderingtheinterpretationofresultsunreliable.Numbersofeggsandyounglarvaemaybeunderestimated,but,inthisrespect,themethodisnolessefficientthananyother.Sectionthree:Wholegrainflotationmethod(clauses17to24)Themethodissuitablefordetectinghiddeninfestationinmostcerealsandpulsesbutonlyonaqualitativebasis.Sectionfour:Acousticmethod(clauses25to31)Themethodissuitablefordetectinglivinginsectadultsandlarvaefeedinginsidegrains.Itdoesnotpermitdeadadultsandlarvaeorlivingeggsandpupae(non-feedingstages)tobedetected.Sectionfive:X-raymethod(clauses32to38)Themethodissuitablefordetectinglivinganddeadlarvaeandadultswithingrains.Insectswhichhavebeenrecentlykilled(forexamplebyfumigation)maybedifficulttodistinguishfromthosestillliving.
