【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestherequirementsforthedesign,manufactureandtestingofvalvesforcryogenicservice,i.e.foroperationwithcryogenicfluidsbelow-10~Caswellasatambientconditionstoallowforstart-upandrun-down.Itspecifiesadditionalrequirementsforcryogenicservicefortheappropriatevalveproductstandard.NOTEacryogenicfluid(refrigeratedliquefiedgas)isagaswhichispartiallyliquidbecauseofitslowtemperature(includingtotallyevaporatedliquidsandsupercriticalfluids).ItappliestosizesuptoDN150includingvacuumjacketedcryogenicvalves.ThisEuropeanStandardisnotapplicabletosafetyvalvesandvalvesforliquefiednaturalgas(LNG).Itisintendedthatthevalvebedesignedandtestedtosatisfyapressurerating(PNorClass).ValvesmaythenbeselectedwithaPNorClassequaltoorgreaterthanthemaximumallowablepressure(PS)oftheequipmentwithwhichitistobeused.
