【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversstructuralclayload-bearingfacingtile.Structuralfacingtilearetiledesignedforuseininteriorandexteriorunplasteredwallsandpartitionsofbuildings.1.2Thepropertyrequirementsofthisstandardapplyatthetimeofpurchase.Theuseofresultsfromtestingoftileextractedfrommasonrystructuresfordeterminingconformanceornonconformancetothepropertyrequirements(Section6and7)ofthisstandardisbeyondthescopeofthisstandard.1.3Tilecoveredbythisstandardaremanufacturedfromclay,shale,orsimilarnaturallyoccurringsubstancesandsubjectedtoaheattreatmentatelevatedtemperatures(firing).Theheattreatmentmustdevelopsufficientfiredbondbetweentheparticulateconstituentstoprovidethestrengthanddurabilityrequirementsofthisspecification.(SeefiringandfiredbondinTerminologyC43.)1.4Thetextofthisstandardreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthestandard.
