【摘要】:IEEEStd1003.1-2001isoneofafamilyofstandardsknownasPOSIX.Thefamilyofstandardsextendstomanytopics;IEEEStd1003.1-2001isknownasPOSIX.1andconsistsofbothoperatingsysteminterfacesandshellandutilities.IEEEStd1003.1-2001istechnicallyidenticaltoTheOpenGroupBaseSpecifications,Issue6,whichcomprisethecorevolumesoftheSingleUNIXSpecification,Version3.ScopeofIEEEStd1003.1-2001POSIX.1andtheISOCStandardFIPSRequirementsThe(paraphrased)goalsofthisdevelopmentweretoproduceasinglecommonrevisiontotheoverlappingPOSIX.1andPOSIX.2standards,andtheSingleUNIXSpecification,Version2.Assuch,thescopeoftherevisionincludesthescopesoftheoriginaldocumentsmerged.SincetherevisionincludesmergingtheBasevolumesoftheSingleUNIXSpecification,manyfeaturesthatwerepreviouslynot‘‘adopted’’intoearlierrevisionsofPOSIX.1andPOSIX.2arenowincludedinIEEEStd1003.1-2001.Inmostcases,theseadditionsarepartoftheXSIextension;inothercasesthestandarddevelopersdecidedthatnowwasthetimetomigratethesetothebasestandard.TheSingleUNIXSpecificationprogrammingenvironmentprovidesabroad-basedfunctionalsetofinterfacestosupporttheportingofexistingUNIXapplicationsandthedevelopmentofnewapplications.Theenvironmentalsosupportsarichsetoftoolsforapplicationdevelopment.ThemajorityoftheobsolescentmaterialfromtheexistingPOSIX.1andPOSIX.2standards,andmaterialmarkedLEGACYfromTheOpenGroup’sBasespecifications,hasbeenremovedinthisrevision.NewmembersoftheLegacyOptionGrouphavebeenadded,reflectingtheadvanceinunderstandingofwhatisrequired.
