【摘要】:Thisstandardofmeasurementisintendedforapplicationtobuildingscontainingretailtypesofoccupancies.Methodologiesdefinedarerelevanttobothnewandexistingbuildings,comprisedofsingleormultiplestoriesthatmaybeleasedtooneormultipletenants.Althoughreferencesaremadetoadevelopmentparcelthisstandardisnotintendedforapplicationtositeimprovementsotherthanbuildings.Theuniformityofthemeasurementofretailareaestablishedbythisstandardnotonlyservestheinterestsofpropertyowners,managersandtenantsbutalso,becausetheyaresuccinctlydefined,mayappealtootherslikefacilitymanagers,brokers,andappraisers.
